Meeting Grandma

Constance finally got to meet her Grandma Stone, Aunt Jessie, and Uncle Daniel this week. Although we would have loved to have them come sooner, they did arrive just when Constance has started focusing more on faces and following voices with her eyes. Oh, and she has also started cooing and making all sorts of new noises, besides the usual crying.

This past week was full of challenging surprises, with Tom going in for a cystoscopy last week Wednesday. We weren't quite prepared for such a drastic solution but Tom was in a lot of pain and so it was probably good that the doctor decided to take immediate action. Then  he had to do a paper presentation in class the very next day. So we secured a rented wheelchair and he went to school in style.

Who would have known that this cute little doll had been screaming and crying just seconds before I took this picture? Luckily, she decided to be happy just in time for us to go and pick up Tom from the surgical center.

But then it was all smiles and cute baby faces once Grandma came. Suddenly Constance had a lot of new attention.
She was really enjoying it.
. . . and she's all ready for Christmas now!
